The ranch has a plethora of mesquite trees. These mesquite trees have long bean pods that are editable. One of the missionaries (Elder Saltzman) has been picking and grinding the beans and making yummy bread and pancakes. He gave us some mesquite flour and we made pancakes Sunday for dinner. Topped with Kamron's syrup they were delicious

I just want to emphasize how hot it is 111* degrees Sunday, 109* today. Yikes I'm melting. Not only am, I melting but look at this poor bunny. I had just watered my little flower bed in front of our camper and he just sprawled out for a cool down.
